Denver, Evan and Alisha all played soccer this year. It was a pretty short season, from Sept 18 - Oct 23, with just the first and last games on Saturday and the rest were during the week. At first I was upset that the games were on school nights, but after sitting through one day of games in the blazing sun, I started to enjoy the evening games more. I was grateful for the short season, because with 3 kids playing games and practicing each week, plus trying to move, it got pretty crazy.
It was a lot of fun to watch Denver this year. It's amazing how much better the Junior High kids are at playing! The games were actually exciting to watch! Alisha's games, on the other hand, not so much (I think she just signed up for the social aspect). All in all, the kids had fun, we enjoyed watching some soccer and now it's over, yahoo!
