What an exciting day!! The kids started another school year. Denver is now at the middle school (am I really that old?) in the 6th grade, Evan is in 4th grade and Alisha is in 1st. Evan has Mrs. Simkins (the same teacher that Denver had) and Alisha has Mrs. Foster (the same teacher Denver & Evan both had), so I'm actually quite pleased with their teachers this year. Alisha was pretty excited to be in 1st grade and have lunch at the school (why are my kids always SO excited about that?). The beginning of the year always seems so overwhelming, but I'm hoping that once we get into the groove of things, that we can settle down a bit. 
I got a picture of Evan and Alisha at the bus stop. Denver leaves so early, that I forgot to get some pictures of him (my brain doesn't work that early in the morning). 
Grant was pretty upset with Alisha for getting on the bus and leaving him. I thought it was cute that he was calling her name and crying as the bus left. You know, it can get pretty boring around the house on school days! I'm trying not to be too sad! Hee Hee

Lol, my kids love school lunch too! Doesn't say anything about my cooking I am sure :) Cute kids! It looks like you have a lot of kids in your neighborhood. Fun!
I loved the picture of Grant..... So sweet crying for his sister!! I feel your pain!! I'm overwhelmed too!! Very!!!!!!! I hope things do improve and I'm less overwhelmed very soon. It hasn't happened yet though!!!!! Let me in on the secret!!! I need it!!!
